MEET OUR HORSES
Chewbaca is a former Rodeo bucking horse! He quit bucking several years ago and we broke him to ride. He is one of the smoothest horses you will ever ride. He is part draft horse so is a big guy!
Big Chief is the biggest horse we have but a "gentle giant". He has such a sweet personality and anyone can ride him. He also came from the rodeo world but was used in the Grand Entries to carry the American Flag.
Poncho has one of the coolest personalities! He and "Lefty" originally came from the Amish and were used as a team to pull a buggy.
Lefty is a favorite with the little guys. We use him to lead children who are too nervous to control their own horse. Lefty is super laid back and doesn’t let anything bother him. He loves attention and will steal your heart!
Blackjack is another tall horse with a kind eye and gentle soul. He was raised by an elderly gentleman in Colorado and is a perfect fit in our program.
Apache is a rescue horse that we took in and has become an awesome trail horse. He is an overo paint with gorgeous blue eyes!
Comanche is another rescue horse. He and Apache came together and are best buddies. They like to be together when riding on the trail.
Gangster is not one of our trail riding horses! He is our foundation sire for our bucking horse breeding program. He is really sweet and loves attention!
"Fringe" is another one of our Bucking Horse Stallions. He is one of the top young horses in the country and was the 2019 UBHA Bucking Horse of the Year!
“El Guapo” is a young Sardo Negro bull. The Sargo Negro breed originated in Mexico and are know for their black and white coloring, gentle demeanor, and large size. We are in the process of breaking him to ride and he will be available for you to meet and take photos with after the ride.
Ghost is a 15 year old cross bred horse. He came to us from Steamboat Springs, Colorado. He was a little stubborn when he first came but has settled in and has turned into such a sweet horse.
